our Approach

It’s a short film; not a documentary

While in film school I noticed something very peculiar. Most of my colleagues were more interested in the cameras, lenses, lights, and all the setup and gear more than the actors or the story! They would work with a big crew, run over schedule and the performance would inevitably suffer. When I work, I use a skeleton crew... Me, the sound guy, and the talent. This allows my actors to breathe, play and focus on the scene. I take the same approach when it comes to filming weddings. No big cameras, no lights in your face, no pulling prodding or posing, just you and your fiancé enjoying the day you worked so hard for! This scene illustrates how I film & edit the special moments for the feature edit. In one take, with some slo-mo.
